DTLA
As it was a bit gray Wednesday morning, we headed downtown, Los Angeles financial center.
Downtown, you can find everything. The worst, like the best. Architectural treasures, vestiges of the city, immense buildings of glass and steel, hyper trendy restaurants, small shops and more modest streets to the districts to be avoided.
The neighborhoods I recommend to visit are the financial district, fashion district, historical district and jewelry district, which are easily accessible on foot.
Walk to Pershing square, visit the flowers market, shop in the fashion district, take advantage of bargains in Santee Alley, admire the old facades of the old cinemas in the historical district, visit the Disney Concert Hall and its small botanical garden So magnificent, enter the breathtaking Our Lady of the Angels cathedral, dine at the Market District, super-hype places where lots of good things await you!
Personally, I never venture beyond Santee Alley (beyond the 8th Av.) For security reasons. Also, try to go to the toilet before leaving or in neighborhoods near the financial district, beyond, nothing is guaranteed. I paid for it ..;)
Nous avons trouvé un parking sur Hope St à 10$ la journée. Ce qui fait de lui l'un des moins chers et des mieux situés pour tout visiter!
