HAPPY 2012!!!

Happy New Year guys!!

How was your NYE??
Mine was, not so great, but it's okay.
You know, i have that feelings that 2012 will be an amazing and memorable year. So bring it on!
I'm ready..

My good friend Wafah came on friday night. Unfortunatly it rain the whole week-end but we did had a good time anyway.
We walked around on saturday, went to a great restaurant for lunch in St Germain, stroll on the Champs Elysées, shop at Sephora and headed home to get ready.
We didn't really know what to do though. i did had some invitations to go to some party with friends but we weren't really up for that, so we just decided to grab a bite, take a few drinks, go to watch the Fireworks at the Eiffel Tower and then see...

Finding a restaurant without reservation was kind of hard, so we walked A LOT! We ended in a "kind of" Italian restaurant (still not sure about this), the food was good but the service was so horrible that we smile and laugh with other custumers (they were doing they best though, it was just funny circumstances).
After that, it was so late that we just did had time to hop on the subway and go to the Trocadero. Confession : Worst idea EVER.
There were tons of people everywhere. I usually don't mind big crowd at all. but that was just bad.
Bad people, mean people, drunk people and we were so stuck in the middle of this than we couldn't even escape.  or move. or breath.
It was scary, seriously.
Some people were crying, some were laughing, some where there just to steal a wallet or two...
I was so confused, i didn't realized it was midnight. Nothing happend. No countdown, no fireworks. no midnight kiss. nothing.
I was still optimisticly waiting for something beautiful to happend when i watch the time, it was 00:12....

Anyway

People finally decided to move in big human waves. We decided to wait.
The subway who was supposed to ride all night, was closed due to an 'incident' (that's it? no more info?!)
The bus? Sure buses run. We waited one hour for that @!#"&=$  bus
A Taxi? Of course! Exept that they are ALL (no exeption, believe me) taken.

The only solution left was you to use our faithful little legs and walk. But we were litterally in the opposit side of town.
Under the rain. Soak. Sore. Upset.
At 2:30 am we found out that the subway was open again. They were allowing small group of people to enter the station only.
We finally get our chance to enter, hop on a subway, went straight home and passed out around 3:30

Of course, due to that long story short i don't have a lot of breathtaken pictures to show. Sorry about that.

I hope you did have a fun, sparkly, glamourous, full of love New Year Eve for me!

On a attendu.
On a attendu 1h entière. Rien
