I had the best time in the city of lights, with my little sister celebrating New Year, this year!
It was magical
It took me back in time, around 5-6 years ago where I used to live in Paris.
And boy oh boy did I liked it!
We spent a few days wandering around that beautiful city, eating any sweets at arms reach, seeing old friends and talking about life and how my teenage sister would like to live there in a few years.
On New Year's Eve night, we had a nice dinner, walk on the Ile Saint Louis, then to Notre Dame to find our way to the Trocadero, where we drank champagne (just a drop for her) and finally we went to see the fireworks on the Champs Elysees.
The air was crispy cold, people everywhere were screaming, hugging, singing and celebrating, we made wishes for 2019, we called our family in the midst of chaos and walked back to my friend's apartment.
It was a perfect night. It was a perfect trip.
On en a de la chance en Europe d'etre situé a un jet de pierre de Paris, quand meme.
Nous avons passé un Nouvel An magique avec ma petite soeur cette année.
Ca m'a beaucoup rappelé la periode ou j y vivais, il doit avoir 5-6 ans maintenant. Déja.
Ce que j'ai adoré cette période!
Nous avons donc passé quelques jours dans la ville lumiere, a nous balader partout, manger beaucoup trop de friandises, a faire coucou aux vieux amis et a discuté avec ma petite soeur de 16 ans du fait qu'elle aimerait y vivre dans quelques années.
Le soir de Nouvel An nous avons diner puis nous nous sommes promené sur l'Ile Saint Louis, puis a Notre Dame puis nous avons continué notre petit bonhomme de chemin jusqu'au Trocadero ou l'on a bu une coupe de champagne et enfin été jusqu'aux Champs Elysées pour voir le feu d'artifice.
L'air été glacé, les gens chantaient, criaient et se serraient dans les bras, nous avons fait nos petits souhaits secrets pour cette nouvel année, avons appellé notre famille au milieu du chaos total ambiant et avons rebroussé le chemin joyeusement jusqu'a l'appartement de l'amie qui nous hébergeait.
La nuit fut parfaite. Le voyage fut parfait.
